The State Debt Management Network invites you to participate in its next nationwide educational webinar. On Thursday, February 25, 2010 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time, Steve Kantor from First Southwest Company, Michael Steinbrook from PFM Asset Management LLC and Dwight Burns from the Texas Public Finance Authority will continue Muni 101 in the third of four sessions designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to municipal finance for debt managers and other interested staff.
These finance professionals will discuss:
• Refunding Transactions
• Arbitrage Rebate
• Rating Agencies
This is the third in a series of four sessions covering the basics of bond finance. Information on the first and second sessions is available on the SDMN website under ‘Resources’. This third session will also be available after March 3, 2010 on the SDMN website – again under ‘Resources.’ All the Muni 101 webinars will continue to be available for future reference until further notice.
The SDMN’s Educational Conference Call/Webinar Program is one of several venues provided by the Network where debt managers from across the country can convene to learn from other public finance professionals. The next educational offering is the fourth and final Muni 101 session expected to occur in April with topics that will include structured products, IRS bond audits and investment of bond proceeds.
Space is limited.
